Dear Fellow
Dentist,
Have you ever planned,
designed and built your own dental office?
I have. Designing your
new, upgraded or expanded dental office is a
MAJOR project.
Depending upon
your financial goals and your project size,
there can be dozens if not hundreds of
questions to be answered, issues to be
resolved and decisions to make.
-
Where do you
start?
-
What do you
do first, second and so on?
-
What things
do I NOT have to do or spend money on?
-
How do I
look for land? Should I buy or
lease?
-
How many
operatories should I have? How big
should they be?
-
What
technology should I integrate?
Should I keep what I have or buy new?
-
Should I
design my own office or hire a designer?
-
Or is it an
architect I really need?
-
Can I manage
to project myself?
-
Can I
oversee parts of the project and
delegate other parts?
-
Which do I
delegate?
-
Who can I
trust and hire to do a good job?
-
What kind of
costs will there be?
-
Can I afford
what I really want?
-
Where and
when do I need to start borrowing money?
These are just
a
fraction of the questions I asked MYSELF
over 10 years ago when I built my dream
dental office.
I won't say that
I was lucky because my beautiful new office
worked out well for me. I spent
considerable time and money making sure it
was done right and the result was what I
wanted. And I've seen the opposite
happen for other dentists.
Trying to manage
their office project all themselves, hiring
incompetent vendors, not planning ahead and
wasting money because of poor decisions and
then having to "pay for it again" to fix
their problems and make it right.
Successful Dental Office Projects Require
Planning And Follow A Structured Process
After I built my
dream office and sold it I've helped
hundreds of other dentists around the
country plan, design and build their new
dental offices. It's my passion,
helping other dentists fulfill their dreams
by building the office of there dreams!
A new
"successful" office can increase patient
satisfaction, case acceptance, staff morale
as well as your cash flow - if it's been
properly planned out beforehand in terms of
design, functionality AND cost.
The secret to
your project being a success is knowing
there's a process to follow for every dental
office project. Because if you don't
follow a process, it can be like putting
together a 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle without
any clues on where to start.
That's why I,
Dr. Jacque Russo of EnviroMed Design Group,
have teamed up with Tony Patrick of Finance
Geeks. To give you a roadmap to follow
if you're considering building, remodeling,
expanding or moving your dental office.
